1:58pm precicely and I finish the first draft of Busted Wonder. Well within my self-imposed deadline of September 30th - as hoped for, really. It's stupid to set yourself impossible deadlines, because you can't keep them. Conversely, it *is* important that you do set yourself deadlines, as otherwise you don't keep them 'em.

So I did it. Yay me.

Busted Wonder is 123 pages of script containing 27,419 words, describing 80 pages of comics.

God knows I'm too close to it right now, but I'm thinking it's probably the best single thing I've ever written, at least in the comics form, and hopefully in everything. It feels like a genuine breakthrough.

And now: Bath.
