"People seem to be having trouble following the tune on this one.

Morrison normally is misunderstood at the level of content rather than form. In terms of how he tells the story there’s little to be bewildered by, but in terms of the story he seeks to present, he loses people by – well – having something more than simple reiteration of genre staples to present. Even simple surrealistic pleasures like the recent Seaboy get shrugs from the sort of people who’d actually try and work out why that guy is so desperate to get the other guy to try green eggs and ham."

Hammered out some idle thoughts before bed on a wee piece of comics virtuosity, and why people aren't quite getting it, frankly.

(Er... pun may be burried a wee bit to deeply in there)
